56482 345x230The Official Spokesman of al Fatah, Jibril Rajoub, ex-head of the Preventive Security Forces on the West Bank, has said that the Palestinian Authority is ready to comply with the requests of Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, if he will show his sincerity in reaching an agreement on the solution of the two States. “Palestine would accept the creation of two States,” Jibril Rajoub said.
“if Netanyahu really believes in the two-State solution, Palestine would accept the creation of two States and we will be prepared to restart negotiations first thing tomorrow,” said the Official Spokesman of al Fatah, Jibril Rajoub.
Official Spokesman of al Fatah, Jibril Rajoub has denied Israel’s accusation that the Palestinian Authority had essentially frozen the process for peace by placing conditions for restarting negotiations. On the other hand, the Official Spokesman of al Fatah, Jibril Rajoub, has said that the Palestinian Authority simply wants to understand the “context” of future negotiations. The spokesman has clarified that there is no military solution, only a political solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and has expressed his desire that the Americans present a clearly defined plan with the American Secretary of States, John Kerry’s, arrival yesterday in Israel.
Kerry has programmed meeting Israeli officials in the attempt to restart the negotiations, where it will be clear that Palestine would accept the creation of the two States.
On his side, the Palestinian Authority’s President, Mahmoud Abbas has asked that the Israeli government suspend the construction of settlements as a condition for returning to the negotiation table, a position that has been refused by Jerusalem.
