The Secretary General of the Unrepresented United Nations (UUN), Giovanni Caporaso Gottlieb, condemned the attempted assassination of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro.
According to intelligence information, the action was organised by the terrorist clan of Luis Posada Carriles, accused by Venezuela and Cuba of an attempt in October 1976 on a Cuban airplane of the Aviacion line when 73 people lost their life, as well as by the Venezuelan opposition together with Colombian extremist groups. The Venezuelan minister of the Interior, Miguel Rodriguez, announced the capture of the Colombians Victor Johan Guache Mosquera and Erick Leonardo Huertas Rios last Sunday; they were pointed out as belonging “to the group of 10 men who came to comply with the assassination of president Maduro,” Rodriguez revealed. The detention of the two mercenaries was carried out with the support of the Colombian Intelligence Service, whose cooperation was by President Nicolas Maduro through his Twitter account.
The UUN clearly showed its absolute condemnation of all terrorist actions that are discussed anywhere in the world, its Secretary Giovanni Caporaso Gottlieb reiterated.
