Balochistan, “the country of the Baloch”, actually forms part of Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan. It is strategically placed on the western side of the Middle East, linking the Central Asian States with the Indian sub-continent and the Indian Ocean. The land of Baloch acts as a barrier between the Russian Zones influenced by Central Asia and British India.

The Balochistan National Party (BNP) represents this territory. This party is composed by political, intellectual, cultural figures and young activists from Baluchistan. The Balochistan National Party (BNP) was established in 1996 by the veteran politician Sardar Attahullah Mengal who had the capacity of uniting groups and attracting political activists to this organization. The Balochistan National Party (BNP) is deeply rooted in the Baloch Society inside Western Balochistan, Karachi, and among the Baloch Diaspora in the Gulf of Arabia. The Balochistan National Party (BNP) has offices in the majority of the European and North American countries. It can also count on the support of ample sections of the Baloch people living in Pakistan.
