The Norfolk Island Constitutional State is an external Australian territory composed of three islands in the Pacific Ocean and situated between Australia, New Zealand and New Caledonia; it has become one of the few external islands of Australia.
The Norfolk Island pine tree is very emblematic for its inhabitants and appears in its flag. The species originates on the island and is very popular in Australia. The Norfolk Island State is found 1,400 kilometers east of Australia and the island’s inhabitants do not pay Australian taxes, because the territory is a tax haven.
Norfolk Island is a Constitutional State whose Head of State is Queen Elizabeth II of England; Owen Walsh is the Administer of the territory and Andrew Neville Nobbs, is its Prime Minister.
